Solihull Carnival took place at the weekend (5, 6, 7 June) with some great weather and plenty of entertainment for all the family. The usual array of fun fair rides and prize stalls was complimented with some excellent entertainment and community stalls ensuring that there was something for all ages.
The entertainment included fantastic performances from singing and dancing groups as well as some more extreme displays such as a bike stunt riding demonstration featuring mountain bikes and motorbikes. The crowd were entertained all day while the traditional stalls like hook-a-duck, tombola and many more ensured that the prizes were flowing for everyone having a go.
In the fun fair, everything from waltzers and dodgems to mini rollercoasters meant that the thrill seekers out there had something to keep them entertained too. With almost every kind of food imaginable also on offer, the carnival was once again a huge success. Superbly organised by Solihull Lions and almost perfect weather for the entire weekend, it was a really enjoyable event for all involved.
